E. Two types are : hybrid courses and fully online courses

II. Body (number of main points are usually determined by length of speech.)
A. Getting Started:
1. “To take an online class, a student must have completed at least one semester at LaGuardia and achieved a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better on all college-level work,”(

2. “In the subsequent semester, the student is eligible to take one online course; if s/he maintains a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 2.0 or better on all college-level work, s/he can take up to two online courses per semester,”(
B. Technical requirements:1. “You must have a relatively up-to-date computer and operating system (Windows XP and above; Mac OSX 10.4 and higher) capable of running up-to-date versions of Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Safari. Click here for detailed requirements,” (
2. “If you're not sure if your computer can handle Blackboard, login to Blackboard and run this browser test while logged in to Blackboard. You must also comply with any technical requirements outlined in your class syllabus,” (

C. Distinguish between Fully online class & Hybrid class
1. Fully online : - Are completed fully online. Students can take an online course anywhere they have access to the internet -- across the U.S. and international locations -- at times that are convenient for students' schedules using the Blackboard Learning Management System. Courses are available in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Instructors provide coursework and submission dates throughout the semester to keep students on track. (

2. Hybrid class : - are a mix of online and traditional, face-to-face classroom instruction with online technology. While applying the requirements of the course are completed in-person, at least ? % of the course content is delivered through the internet. In-person meeting dates, times, locations, and other relevant factors vary from course to course and are made available to students prior to registration. Could be a great option. Other reasons students may choose hybrid courses include that hybrids offer the 'best of both worlds,' often satisfying the needs of people with other obligations, transportation challenges, or who just have a curiosity about online courses - all without the commitment of going fully online.
